How much out of level is ok with AGP?

I don't know. I would think that would be covered by the installer if an improper installation needs to be corrected. Sent from my 4G LTE Droid using Tapatalk 2

How much out of level is ok with AGP?

Agreed. That is way out of level for any installer, Nevermind a "pro". 1/2" or less, preferably less. Laser levels are a wonderful tool. Sent from my 4G LTE Droid using Tapatalk 2

    Sanity check on my numbers

I thought I should be targeting cya 50 for full sun pool, that's why I was trying for 40 with stabilizer then on to 50 after pucks. Maybe I misunderstood some readings? Yes, the water looks great. Couldn't be happier. I'm so glad I found this place. It really takes the mystery out if lol care...

    Sanity check on my numbers

Pool is 1 month old and I just wanted to make sure I had a grasp on the testing/balancing. Last night's #'s are: FC 6 CC 0 PH 7.5 TA 110 CYA 30 CH 130 - I want to bring CYA to 40, so I have a sock with 22oz stabilizer hanging in the pool right now. - Shooting for 40 because I'm going to have...

    Thoughts for a new pump

I don't have much experience, but have a 2 speed 1.5hp for 27' AGP with DE filter. Low is 2.9 amps 1725 rpm, high is 11 amps 3450 rpm. Low can barely be heard standing next to it. I wouldn't spend the money on variable speed. I think it was in $250 range. Sent from my 4G LTE Droid using Tapatalk 2

How to level out pool steps????

How to level out pool steps????

They're the same as wood wedge shims. Stack to get your height. Ifdo remember correctly, the pack stacked is about 3 in. Under $2. Would need to fasten the pack together somehow. Sent from my 4G LTE Droid using Tapatalk 2

My shop vac wants to eat my liner ;-)

When should the shop vac be turned when installing a liner? Water in the pool is just to the top of the foam cove, walls look smooth, but the vac is screaming trying to suck in the liner. Sent from my 4G LTE Droid using Tapatalk 2

    Pink foam under AGP

Is the pink foam only used under Intex pools? I'm interested in using it under my liner, but in seaarching, I see the majority of users have Intex pools. Heading to HD tomorrow to walk on it see if I like the feel. Thanks Sent from my 4G LTE Droid using Tapatalk 2

Indeed. Sometimes they don't carry the best of the best. But that's what makes the return policy appealing. You're not stuck with it for 25 years

    Hayward Power-flo Matrix

I just opened my new pump. It's 1.5 hp 2 speed power-flo matrix. Are these indentations supposed to be there? There feels like one under the label, with no damage to the label, so I think It's from the factory. I saw a new single speed pump and it didn't have any indentations. Going to email...

That's the first person I've ever heard had problems returning something that wasn't on the excluded list. Been a member since the PriceCostco days... The TV return policy was fantastic. Still have one that was purchased before the warranty change, so it's grandfathered in for lifetime...

    Unibead liner Dished center?

Hello everyone. Been reading and learning a lot here. This place is a wealth of info. It has me really geared up for my first pool. Question is, can I dish the center of a 27' round pool about 6" or so, when using a unibead liner? Sorry if its a common question, the search is not working...

    Resin vs metal top rails

I'm searching for my 1st pool and one thing I keep seeing and hearing is that resin rails don't get as hot from the sun as metal rails. Can anyone share some real world observations on that one way or the other, or any other thoughts about either system. Thanks
