    High TA

I'm using the TF -100 kit and am getting high TA levels. 180 double checked, now today 160 double checked. I took a sample to pool store just for a 2nd opinion and they read it as 100. I've read directions and using the 25ML test but I feel like something is wrong. Appreciate some advice...

Thanks for the help! Appreciate this forum. Pool guy scoffed at me when I stopped by and told him I was moving to liquid chlorine. He said..."oh well you will have really high total dissolved solids". Is that something to worry about or just their propaganda?

How long would I run this exchange? My pool has an overflow drain, so would I still need a pump?

Decided to stop having water tested and learn how to do it. Got the Taylor Tf-100 and took my first test. I plan on moving to liquid chlorine and away from tablets. My CYA is too high and I'm hesitant to drain water. Here are results of first test. Any advice? FC 6 TA 110 CYA 85 PH 7.5 CH 325
