Thanks just had to ask...

Have to ask... I had to replace my IC40 so I have a dead IC40 laying around. This one wouldn't light up but power was good to the cell. Can these be taken apart? Can they be put back together again? Just hate seeing a cell with just two years on it laying around.

Replaced the salt cell now all is well....

I pulled the capacitor and it was a bit swollen. Put the new one in and the fan started then 5 minutes later the compressor. It is hot today so I’ll let it run to see if it works.

Thanks I at least have a support contract for my home AC I bet they would be happy to add one for my pools HVAC. I see hope of support there. As for pool technicians.... Little Rock is tough right now. I get a lot of we can't handle any more new clients. Thanks!

I had some electric issues after a storm. I got the pump going. Lost my Intellichlor and they are out of stock most places but I have tabs and liquid chlorine till I can get one. The Ultratemp chiller is my favorite item during 100+ degrees but it is not working either. It runs but compressor...

That is what I wondered but it has been working for years without issues so I haven't messed with it. Going to order a new cell as I truly can't live without. I'm not going to use liquid chlor like dang cave man... Maybe he was colorblind..

Ok I got my meter out and I got the following readings: 2.1vdc 2.7vdc 28vdc Looks like I am shopping for a new cell 8-( I might need to get an electrician to go over my equipment setup grounding/bonding. My heater chiller is also misbehaving the fan is slow to start and fan motor overheats...

I pulled the fuse and it has an unbroken piece of metal in the middle so it looks good. In one picture the piece looks bad but in the other fine. Restarted the system same result no lights on ic40. Just downloaded power center manual but not alot of detail there..

Yes sir light is green. I will check the fuse. Then I'll find the surge card. Not much in there to go wrong really. Thanks for all the patience.

It has a separate power box. Pic above. Breaker->Transformer->surgee card->IC40. Ok.. I do not know where the surge card is but I'll go through the manual. I have a really good multimeter what should the voltage be for the surge card.

I build tube audio electronics for a hobby so I at least know how to stay safe. I removed the cables in the grey cover from the com port and tried again. In pool mode the ic40 remained dead. The pool pump continues to function.

Grey cable noted... The intellichlor is dead as a doornail. Not a peep or a blink of a light. Before it stopped working. The 2% and 4% were blinking in pairs alternating with 8% and 10%. Pool is indeed in pool mode. Pump is working perfectly now.
