    Hayward Omnilogic Upgraded

Ok I opened up the Omnilogic, there's no place in there to plug in the cell. I did move the Flow sensor from the Omnilogic back to the SWG which fixed the flow light, but then the Omnilogic kept giving me an error for the flow sensor. Disabled the flow sensor in the settings, but still no...

Help Upgrade Equipment to iPhone Control

Thanks! I'll check out omnihub and find a dealer for them if there's one around here. Existing pump works fine, just old but I agree I'd rather wait till it dies before replacing I don't need a new filter, I was told it's a package deal and the filter comes with it. Good to know about the...

Help Upgrade Equipment to iPhone Control

New filter, vss pump, iaqualink for ~5k. Electrical/plumbing/install 6k. Ugh the T3 is what was recommended on INYO for replacement. Guess I can just use it till it burns out and then get a bigger one? I want to be able to control the heater specifically. I know to do that I need to control...

Help Upgrade Equipment to iPhone Control

I just moved into this house and have been working on the pool. After ordering a new heater in Feb, it was finally installed this past week (Jandy Jxi400). I have an old Hayward pump that I have set to go on from 9p-9a with an Intermatic mechanical switch and a Starite System 3 cartridge filter...

    Think I’m Ready!

Hahahahaha Ok that makes me feel a lot better then!! Water is crystal clear! My FC being on the lower end of the range, could it be because of the bright sunny day it comes down, and then my pump/SWG runs at night bringing it up to ~6-7 most days? Yup salt was also on the low end too so I can...

    Think I’m Ready!

First I just wanted to say thx to this site, I’ve been managing my own chemicals and having a blast doing it! Water isn’t warm enough for me yet (pool heater not installed yet) but my kids have started jumping in and loving it. Here’s my results from this evenings test: FC: 4.5 Ph: 7.6 TA: 80...

    Leaking Filter

Nope opening and closing didn't stop it. Will check the o-ring but that gauge is brand new. I installed the whole thing less than a month ago. We did have a pretty cold spell for a few days so hoping that didn't damage it.

SWG on but no lights on?

This is all I'm seeing. There's power but other than the salt reading, no other lights are on. Water temp is ~63 degrees, pump is running. Any ideas?

Drainage isn't great where I'm at and March/April can sometimes be pretty wet here. Ok if I'm gonna keep the CYA at 100 for now without draining. What should I try and fix next? FC or salt?

According to poolmath, I needed 1 gallon of 10% to add. I added that and it seems like it went from 0-2. Using pool math again, 2-10 still says 1 gallon. Happy to add it but wanna be sure that’s the right next step to take. And yup, did the FC like you said.
