White deposits on outside of spa and waterfall

I assume this means water balance is not the problem and this is a structural problem ? Is this a normal problem for hot tubs made with stone? Should I call the pool company ?

White deposits on outside of spa and waterfall

Hello all . I follow TFP methods ... you should be able to view my numbers on pool math and my signature should have my pool specs .... I’ve not ever had the deposits on the outside of the spa before ( just on the spillover ) . I would appreciate any and all advice . 😊

    Calcium Deposits Despite Excellent CSI

Thanks Maddie ... previously I used straight MA in a spray bottle and it fizzed right off but I guess the diluted solution would be easier on the stone/mortar and safer ? 😉Do you know what I need to do to prevent it ... or is it even possible ?

    Calcium Deposits Despite Excellent CSI

Hello all ... I have had an excellent CSI and been balancing my water with TFP methods since last August . I recently in the last month have used acid to get the calcium deposits off my spa waterfall and they reappeared fairly fast ( with in a couple of weeks ) Any advice ?

    1st time adding calcium chloride

Added 1 cup and it did not seem to cloud it up . To get to high end of FC range I need 8.5 mor cups . It is somewhat cloudy from the calcium I added 2 hours ago . I premixed 5 lbs in 5 gallon bucket to dissolve and added it to deep end .... added a total of 10 pounds to get CH to 250.

    1st time adding calcium chloride

Hi everyone . I need to add chlorine and I added calcium chloride tonight (See pool math .) My CSI is pretty low and so I read on one TFP post that I can adjust my chlorine before the 24 hour wait time suggested without the risk of clouding if CSI is less than zero . I have maintained my pool...

    Adjusting ph advice

Hi all ... I’m not sure I should have adjusted from 8-7.5 ( I think I read slow adjustments are best ) but I did and now it’s caused my CSI to be low . I have a fountain and so ph climbs on its own . It’s also raining and I’m wondering if it’s not a big deal and I I just wait and retest ph...

Variation in Chlorine drop test results (TF-100 kit)

Feeder is emptied ... no tabs .... no graular shock ... only liquid chlorine ... I started last week and I am keeping my FCL levels between target and minimum for my CYA . I am testing twice daily just to get an idea of how much chlorine loss I have daily . I am adding acid to decrease my ph to...
