    Pool leaking around light enclosure

The cover looked like and was installed like the orignal light fixture, but without the bulb/fixture installed anymore. I too would assume its a wet niche. My initial thought was to drain the water back down below the light, and put some caulking around the exit into the conduit, then also...

    Pool leaking around light enclosure

Hi all, We have an inground pool that installed early 90s. We moved into the house a few years ago and the light has never worked. This spring i removed the light cover and found the electrical cut off and no fixture or bulb, just the cover attached with some caulking around it. I used the...

Do I need a new panel or automation?

With the upgrade discount looks like the CircuPool RJ-60Plus would be $1,398 vs $1,108 for the Pentair Intellichlor IC-60. Is the CircuPool worth the extra $300, like you mention i wouldn't be able to make small adjustments with the Pentair if i didnt have the panel?

    Upgrading old equipment

Yippee, I do clean the filter about once a week. Would a larger filter just provide more times between cleanings? or other benefits too?

    Upgrading old equipment

Casey, Thanks for the input, that other heatpump is about $1,400 more. I thought i was reading folks like the RayPak. What does the AquaCAl do better, the VS aspect of it seems interesting as it would save some money.

Inground Pool Deck - What is this?

I'm in the process of renovating our concrete pool decking. This wood section was previously covered by plastic sheeting that was looking pretty dingy. Anyone know what this section is for? The pool was built around 1993, its 20x40 oval. I haven't removed the boards yet, but it looks to be about...
