Pentair IntelliCenter can’t find my home network. HELP!!

When mine was recently installed I was told Pentair was picky with the SSID. They told me a lot of people were creating a guest network with basic SSID and password just for the intelicenter. That's what I did so I did not have to reconnect all of my other devices by changing my SSID.

    New Pool!

Hey everyone, I'm not new but my pool is. This is our second build and I am looking for a little input from you guys on start up. We're 30 days after fill so the builder had a pool service complete the first month. Here's what they left me with. FC 5 PH 8.0 TA 70 CH 200 CYA 50 Salt 200 Temp 48...

    Intellivalve with Intellicenter

Thanks for the information. My bubbler and waterfall share one 3 way valve. It's not a big deal, it would just be nice to have the additional functionality.

    Intellivalve with Intellicenter

Hello all, I've been reading and searching but can't seem to find a current answer. I just finished a build with an intellicenter and intellivalves. I would like multiple stops so I can run my bubbler and waterfall in different combinations. I read this feature is coming, but not yet. Seems like...

Pool company recommendation for replastering... around Bay area,CA

Adams did my Sacramento area Pebble Sheen on my last build and will be doing their Pebble Plus on my current build. They did a great job and have great reviews in my area. I'm pretty sure they serve the Bay Area as well.

    Ultratemp 140 vs Solar

I do have roof space, although it is on the front of the house and my wife is not the biggest fan of the appearance of panels. We've only had the pv system running for about a month and the last couple of weeks have been really impacted by the smoke from the fires. It's hard to completely judge...

    Ultratemp 140 vs Solar

Hello all, just got started on my new build (I'll start a build thread soon). It's my second build so I feel much more comfortable with options. The main thing I'm hung up on is heat pump vs solar. It's going to be a 15-20k gal with spa and I'm in Northern California. I will be running NG heater...

Ok, I'll give that a shot. I have not ever just done fill water, I'll do that as well.

    Brand New

Everything has been going well. Currently, FC 3 PH 7.5 TA 50 CH 300 CYA 30 Salt 3400 I was able to get my CH up and have been staying on FC and PH. I'm concerned about the TA, I was happy to get it down from 120 but it keeps dropping. I'm going to pick up some baking soda and bring it...

    Brand New

Thanks for the advice. Will do. I have my TA and ph down a little and I'm working on bringing my CH up. While reading I noticed post advice is to have higher cya with a salt pool. Should I start to bring my cya up now even though the swcg won't be on for a while? I realize that I'll have to...

Thanks for the input Poolgate. I've actually been contemplating adding the salt for that reason. We've been using the spa about once a week. Also, I don't really like storing the salt since I already have it. Do I need to actually unplug the cell or is just leaving output at 0 fine? Thanks...

    Brand New

Thanks for the advice. I've been busy but finally got my tf kit. I did my first tests today. I think the pool company added a bunch of chlorine last week because I think they missed the week prior. Of course, that completely helped me solidify not using them. FC 12 CC .5 PH 7.6 TA 120 CH...

    Brand New

My build was just finished and the builder contracts a local pool service company to handle the initial startup for not only the chemicals but also all of the equipment and set up. Everything is up and running with the exception of the screen logic which they are scheduled to set up next week...

    New Build, Northern California

More spa questions : It's a 7' spa and 4 basic jets is what is included. Is that fine? Would it really be beneficial to upgrade to more or better jets? They want almost $1000 to add two more jets. Seems like it would be nice, but a little pricey if you're not trying to sit in front of them as...

    New Build, Northern California

Due to the advice here we did change the depth to 3.5-6'. Thank you, I think we'll be much happier. Thanks SoCalGuy I'll have to talk to the PB about putting it by the equipment pad and see what they say.

    New Build, Northern California

Iceman, I went with Century Pools. So far so good, but we're just getting started. I do have a question regarding the spa. The Pb states that they usually put adjustable air valves in the spa coping above each jet for the air mix. My wife does not like the idea of having anything in the...

    New Build, Northern California

Thanks! I think I got the pictures figured out and also added the state to my profile. I'm not sure how I missed that. I appreciate the input on the depth, I'll have to figure that out pretty quick. My wife is pretty short (5'2") and we have a one year old daughter. The PB recommended the...
