    Intex SWG with Copper question.

I hate to kick up such an old post but it is still relevant so I thought I'd show the answer to the question about how to remove the copper and how to close the holes where the copper once was in the SWG: http://www.troublefreepool.com/threads/55776-How-to-remove-copper-bars-in-Intex-SWG

    What does the math say???

Whooop! There it is. You're saying that losing 30% of 10 FC being 3 FC is harder for my SWG to replace than losing 30% of 5 being 1.5 FC, It all seems so simple now! Yep! My SWG would only have to work 1/2 as hard to replace 1.5 PPM of FC than 3.0 of FC. Thank you!

    What does the math say???

Beautiful DogsHouse_MyPool. I sent JasonLion a private message asking him for some info and he had suggested I post my question here and that someone like you would come along and post a likely good answer as you did. I want to complete this topic so I dug up my owner's manual and pulled the...

    What does the math say???

Cut to the chase and just read the bottom paragraph or read all of this for details: Here are my current water specs: FC: 8.0 (This is my minimum/target level. I usually take it up to 11 each night and lose 3.0 FC over the next 24/hrs. leaving me back at my target level.) CC: 0.0 pH: 7.6 TA...

    SWG dying???

I got my replacement SWG component and it was not the same. Yes, I was mad. The gray plastic piece of plastic everything mounts down to was different. Two of the 4 screws and nuts were much bigger and the right size did not come in the box. The three wires that come out of the power...

How to remove copper bars in Intex SWG

Serious question here: If you do put nuts on the bottom of each metal bar and someone accidentally plugs the live plug back onto the top because they think it came loose or something, what happens then? Is there a shock possibility?

    SWG dying???

Mine was in fact dead. I was able to quickly contact Intex and without too much trouble get a free replacement under warranty sent out. That one in the picture is in fact called a CS8110 as you said but it has another name that defines it perfectly. It is a CG-28663 per their own website. here...

    SWG dying???

I'm still using the SWG that I got with my Intex Pool just 9 months ago which is a 18' X 48" AGP pool. It came with a SWG (Model CS8110) and a T-635 1,500 gph filter pump. I have already replaced the pump with the bigger T622 2,500 gph. It is awesome. My water is about perfect per my K2006...
