Yes for sure. we need to get inspections done before back fill. Keep fingers crossed it is Gov Inslee's state so that might not be possible

Work is started on new Pool

Plumbing and electrical dropped in the trench today. hoping to finish up tomorrow and get inspection next week. Pressure test piping. Electrical will power 2 lights, autocover, outlet to pergola, and power to a 8 x 10 pool shed. Hopefully then can get back fill done.

Work is started on new Pool

Thank you. Yes I am going to have the PB put something between the pipe and structure. It will be dirt back filled and over half will have artificial turf so I will still be able to dig it up if needed. Hopefully no time soon

Work is started on new Pool

OK plumbing started. 2" piping. 2 skimmers separate lines and 2 bottom drains. Day 1 I had a concern with the PVC sitting on the sharp end of the support structure. I think there should be something between the pipe and the steel supports. Your thoughts?

It is a long way to the equipment

James Yes 2 main drains and 2 skimmers. Why don't you tie the skimmers together? I have not seen the plumbing layout. Hopefully tomorrow. the changes to this design are 1 - Both skimmers are on the right side and we added a 1' safely ledge in the deep end. no fountains, bubblers or anything...

    New construction, Southern Tampa area

If you are going to wire it now and use later I know this is going to be an issue for me. I am thinking of maybe putting in a heat / cool pump (Pentair 140 Ultra Temp). This changes wire and breaker sizing. But regardless the electrical is going to have to be inspected on my job and we are...

It is a long way to the equipment

The equipment will be above pool level on a pad around the corner of the house so 90's and 45's and sweep fittings. I will ask the PB tomorrow what size piping he will be running. As always thank you for your insight it is greatly appreciated. It has been almost 1 year for me on this forum doing...

    New construction, Southern Tampa area

Sounds like we are tackling many of the same issues with our new build. You can check out the progress and issues on this forum. The TFP team has been working with me to get it right for almost a year. We purchased these for the umbrella holders. We saw then at a resort on vacation and they...

It is a long way to the equipment

Hi All, A few questions. We have started installing our new pool. The equipment pad is going to be about 85' from the last skimmer. I know I should have lots of questions about issues this will cause. Any recommendations or experience with this issue is appreciated! Here is where we are at...

Concrete Poured. My plan is to use the standard buckets for traditional lights and add the LED inserts based on all the feedback with LED light problems. This would allow easy replacement of the bulbs is there is an issue.

Work is started on new Pool

Great Question! They have not ordered the equipment. 1) The Pentair IntelliCenter Pool Control System with WiFi is what i requested. Is there other details I need to specify? 2) IntelliChlor Pentair SWG 3) IntelliChem Acid Pump and tank (do i need to be more specific with the equipment...

Work is started on new Pool

Concrete for forming pumped today. Tight squeeze to get the pump truck and mixer into the backyard. One BIG issue is WA is still under Phase 1 from COVID 19 and because of Gov Inslee NO inspections can be performed so NO backfill. Run plumbing and electrical and keep fingers crossed we can get...

Work is started on new Pool

This is the layout. We added a 1' safety ledge in the deep end. We moved both skimmers to the east side. One in the deep end and one in the shallow end. Two lights on the west side so they don't shine in our eyes when sitting in the pergola

Quick depth quesition for an inground liner pool.

I know you say you don't want a deep end. Something to consider is someone jumping or diving into a shallow pool. To that end a close friends son dove into a shallow pool and broke his neck. The outcome was very sad for sure. Not sure if you can prevent everyone from jumping / diving in at all...
