If you did not go with Globrites what did you do instead?

I just had a 40x18 pool built and went with 4 microbrites, 2 on the 40' side and 1 at each end. I really like them and they light up the pool really good.

    Northern California remodel

I'm guessing that you have a conduit from your Intellicenter to the pool light J-box... If you do you can can just pull an additional wire in that conduit to power your constant GFCI and use the existing wire to operate your lighting via the Intellicenter relay.

    CoverStar Sensor with IntelliCenter?

You can run your low voltage wiring in the same conduit as long as it has the same 600v insulation as the 120v wiring.

Permits issued in NoVA - Now awaiting production

I am by no means an expert but the recommendations I have gotten on this site (from pretty much everyone) would be to ditch the EasyTouch and Screen Logic for an IntelliCenter. I believe it works out to be almost the same cost. I cannot comment on the operation of the IntelliCenter because I...

    Intellicenter Questions

Update... PB swapped the SuperFlo for the Intelliflo pump. I will say that is one smooth running pump. But I'm still waiting on the Intellicenter. He said that Pentair told him that they are a little behind right now. Not sure if that is true or what... He said it might be a week or two...

UT New Build - Update (Decking 2/8)

@ImpalaSS Thanks for the feedback. Your pool looks good. Any reason you went with microbrites vs intellibrights? My PB says he did two intellibrights in his personal 50x20 pool and says they light up the whole pool so I figured I would be good with two intellibrights for my 35x15 pool. It...

UT New Build - Update (Decking 2/8)

I'm near the finish line with my build and I went with 4 Microbrites on a 40x18. One at each 18' side and 2 spaced out equally on the house side of the pool. PB was just going to do 3 but I thought it might need more and I'm glad I did. I think it has just enough light but I may have done 5...

    Intellicenter Questions

Agree. I will do it myself. So does the intellicenter connect to my house Wifi or smart phones? Or do I have to buy something additional for that?

    Intellicenter Questions

Yes, I am getting a SWG. The load center I have already has the transformer for it. I'm a little frustrated now..... The load center and the personality kit were 2 different parts. I installed the load center a couple days ago. Today I opened the box for the personality kit but didnt...

    Intellicenter Questions

My contract is for an Easy Touch. I told him I would rather have an Intellicenter. He said it was no problem. I'm thinking he got the wrong personality kit. He would get me anything I ask for but I dont think he quite understands all the technology. I'm a little more involved in my build...

    Intellicenter Questions

My pool builder supplied an Intellicenter 8 circuit load center w/ the transformer for the salt generator and a 521223 i5 + 3S Personality kit. This kit does not have a screen to operate it, just buttons for the relays. How do you control it? Does it need a Screen logic kit? Or has my...

    SuperFlo and IntelliFlo Pumps

Dont have any water features but I do want the control of the speed. Intelliflo looks like what I need. Like you said Jim, slow RPM and energy efficient.

    SuperFlo and IntelliFlo Pumps

Would it make sense to use a Superflo pump with an Intellicenter or should a Intelliflo pump be used? Thanks!

    New Construction Maryland 10-9-20 Finally!!

Wow, that sounds the like a sweet one!! My favorite would be a '62. But I've liked the '65 since back in the day when Car Craft magazine built a project car. I actually have 94-96 Impala SS cars. Right not I have a 100% stock '95 with 66K miles and a race car Caprice. I've owned about 10...

    New Construction Maryland 10-9-20 Finally!!

Here is my gallon calculation: Two 7K gallon loads of water Sunday. Hose ran for 29 hour. Tested hose and got 3 gallons in 40 seconds. Should be 7,830 gallons +/- but that volume could differ. One 7k gallon load of water yesterday...but we didnt empty the truck but it was Dang close. Now the...

Very good information. I have not had my cover installed yet but I will have to look into that expansion module.

    New Construction Maryland 10-9-20 Finally!!

I've seen the pics of yours, I love your set up. Very similar! I'm actually going to build a gazebo in the same spot you have yours. I made the deck 16x35 on that end. Was looking at a 10x14' from Costco but haven't made a decision yet. As of now I have no fence planned. My county offers...

    New Construction Maryland 10-9-20 Finally!!

Yes, they have been working pretty quick. Its about 9-9.5' in the deep end. I've had 2 full trucks of water and my hose has run about 24 hours. I'm about 18" from full so 4-5 more hours. So I just need to measure the GPM to figure it out.

    Pentair Cartridge Filter

I have a 18x40' 3.5-9.5 deep pool. The pool builder has supplied a Pentair Clean and Clear 200 filter. Is this a good selection or should I request a larger filter? The pump is a 2.2hp VS.

    New Construction Maryland 10-9-20 Finally!!

Here are some updated pics. Deck was poured last week, ended up being close to 1400 sqft. The plaster was done yesterday. Went with the Diamondbrite Marlin Blue. 2 trucks of water yesterday and filling the rest with the hose last night and today. PB is supposed to add the acid this...

New build, digging starts today. Measuring?

I'm not exactly sure. After they gunited we were talking and he told me he makes his pools thicker than most contractors. I'd imagine that its a lot stronger and less subjectable to cracking..?...

My pool contractor pours his walls 14" thick. He tells me that's thicker than other builders in the area but I don't know this for sure.

Permits issued in NoVA - Now awaiting production

Hopefully your permit will be approved quicker than 60 days. Mine was just approved Monday and construction started Thursday over here in Maryland. My permit was applied for in May!! My only suggestion is to switch to an IntelliTouch panel. It may even be cheaper than an Easy Touch with...
