    TF-100 Chlorine Cylinder Losing Markings?

The point I was trying to make about the syringe is you use the markings on the syringe to measure. It's more precise. And inexpensive. Then you are not (in my case) squinting to see some notch on the vial or worrying about over shooting the mark.

    TF-100 Chlorine Cylinder Losing Markings?

Not sure if mentioned before, but no need for markings on the vial. Get a $3 60ml veterinary syringe.

the 2006C has CYA tester. It's the smaller tube (in the picture above) on the pH tester. The plastic bottle front and center is where you mix the R 0013.

Am I using too much chlorine?

It's like a pet, you need to feed it daily. Like Marty said, very average and could go up to 56 oz (4ppm) on high UV days.

    Golden Retriever Is Here

The picture is on the day she came home. More recent pic Accidentally dropped by one of the breeders children @ 6wks - it was shattered ☹️. She ended up going to Golden Retriever rescue. They took care of the surgery etc. And at 8 weeks she came home to us. We couldn't resist the tripod as we...

Dog ramp for IG fiberglass pool

You may want to consider a life vest. Ruffwear makes a quality vest with a handle on top you can use to assist him up and down the steps. Our friends have a 12 yo Golden with mobility issues and it works for them when we have a dog swim party. In addition the vest adds buoyancy support so...

    Cya level

More like CYA goes down slowly as you replace water due to evaporation and as you drain off excess water from heavy rains. Or in our case when you replace water from Golden Retrievers carrying it out like giant sponges

Is SWCG a good fit for my pool

You should be fine. Typical pool store response. If you want a second opinion and better quote, call John Howard @ Accent Pools in Lebanon, PA (not sure if Middletown is in his territory though) he recommended the SWCG for our pool build.

    Confession Time!

Was pumping to waste to remove a few inches after heavy rain. Wife asked me a question. I couldn't hear so walked ~75ft to where she was. Then got distracted and went back to my office. Hour or so later looked out at the pool and the water was below the skimmer and the pump was running dry...

I did have the skin on but I had the temp @ 400F recommended by Chef Greg. They were very crispy and great tasting. I saw other postings where people experienced the rubbery skin at lower temps. I think over at amazingribs Meathead recommends 325 for poultry on the smoker.

Help! Our pool water is green.

Straight from the SLAM process link: Check and adjust the PH to between 7.2 and 7.5. The PH test isn’t reliable during SLAMing so make sure to take care of this before you start. The best solution to this is simply shut off the SWG, Liquidator, injection pump, etc. and use liquid chlorine...
