    Pentair INTELLICENTER App Ramblings

So I finally got all my equipment wired up how I like it, and figured I would take a crack at the setup and programming. Thanks for all the amazing info from @MyAZPool which I read through before I even began. NOW... I am sure I am not the only one to realize these Pentair apps leave much to...

i should have explained what all that was I have 2 low voltage junction boxes ran in series all with 1” pvc conduit. First box has salt cell - heater com - and 2 valves (heater bypass and return valve) Second box shown in last photo has 2 pump com cables (first 2 pairs) 4 intellivalves (intake...

Cut the ends of my intellivalves and soldered them to ends of my wire runs Made most of my terminations and everything seems to be working fine i extended the temp sensor, the intellivalves, and spliced the pump communication wires. I wasnt sure these would work but @MyAZPool said he did it and...

    Our First Pool

Got through some of my low-voltage / communication wiring today. Most of my runs were too long and needed to be spliced, so I purchased terminal blocks which just barely fit in my low voltage junction boxes and will splice everything on these blocks (two of them). I was able to run everything...

Another The Woodlands, TX Build - Finishing up - landscaping and electrical

Why use Load on FLTR relay to then feed another relay to run SCG and intelliph? seems like a waste of a relay?

GOOD EYE!! That last breaker is the 2hp spa blower. The load side powers the blower and the line feeds the relay and continues to the intellicenter just as you saw it. I wanted to use continuous feeds for the relays as it would eliminate anything coming loose and causing me to lose power to...

A shot of the wiring inside the intellicenter i tried to keep the wiring as clean as possible and made up a jig to pre-bend the feeds to the relays.

Kim it was VERY expensive!! Wayy more than we ever thought. Definitely budget early for plaster and negotiate it at the beginning if you think you want it. We contracted the plaster company on our own because we were originally going with florida stucco. There was only two Pebble tec applicators...

I read alot of posts complaining about that with darker colored plaster. This has a greyish color base but i guess all the different colored glass beads and pebbles gives it the color you see. My co worker is unhappy with his plaster because he says it has blotches.

    Our First Pool

Almost full!! We installed the steps today and the coping tiles we had left off for plaster access. Also installed 2 2" strainer filters off of the 2-1/2" feed going to the sheer descent, since this pump is dedicated for water features and does not flow through the pool filter.

They sent a crew over the following day to clean up and fix any issues ( which there was several places where the plaster was covering some of the marker tiles ) which they took care of. Pool is filling up now. I took a photo of the water meter to get a close figure of water capacity when its done.

I was thinking of buying a bunch of that black river rock. Comes either shiny of matt, but I thought it would be a nice contrast and still allow for drainage. There are several areas where I left cutouts like that for drainage and planned on filling all with decorative river rock.

The terminal block is to run my intellivalves into. The cable isnt long enough, so I have to splice in a section then splice back in the plug at the intellicenter with possibly another terminal block. Thanks to Ron MyAZpool for the help!

I took the valve apart and reoriented it. I actually took them all apart when I glued the PVC to make sure I didnt get any glue or primer inside the valve body and oriented them correctly when I assembled them back together. I had to do this on the suction side as well. I made sure that the...

The pump that doesnt run through the filter is for water features. 2-1/2” sheer descent - 1-1/32” ledge bubbler - 1-1/2” side bubblers - and 1-1/2” laminars (both with a 3way to balance the pairs)

Jeff that would be the Spa jets/spa floor returns /pool wall returns When the cell arrives I will plum from filter to another 3 way to add heater later (will act as heater bypass also) and then turn towards the returns where the IC60 will be plumbed in. Will leave some room for the intelliph...
