Rat's! I did forget to bring the pH down before raising the FC to 12. Is that going to be an issue? I know the pH test isn't reliable now that the FC is high.
Can you adjust the CYA while slamming? Is that test accurate with SLAM level FC?

Thanks everyone for all the help this year. I've had a super easy time keeping the pool looking great with just adding bleach and MA occasionally. Today the pool was slightly cloudy. Here are my numbers:
FC - 6
PH - 7.8
TA - 50
CH - 48
CYA - 30

Thanks so much everyone. The SLAM went great. Took longer than I expected but I wasn't able to keep at it every day - all day to maintain the correct shock level (LIFE...know what I mean?). But got there in the end and now I'm just maintaining. I found it's only around a quart a day to do...
