    Scheduling spa spillway

@Jimrahbe , you change the actuator valve position by moving the cam, correct? I will have to move the cam to make the return normal off on spa return instead of the neutral 50/50 position. making the valve a 180* turn The suction side, keep as currently. Thanks Rich

    Scheduling spa spillway

Yep, that’s what I have, found it, thanks. I’ve never been in that section before. Maybe now I can also figure out how to make it so I can change the light colors on my bubblers Thanks, Rich

    Scheduling spa spillway

Thanks for the great detail @Jimrahbe ! I’ll do a search about reconfiguring my return valve, I believe I understand what you mean there, instead of in the center as off, it has to be either all pool or all spa. when I go into my ScreenLogic, I don’t have those setup pages. The only page that...

    Scheduling spa spillway

I was reading in another thread that you can schedule to only have your spillway run for a few hours rather than all the time. From looking at my system, I don’t think the builder set it up for this feature, and I don’t see an option in the menu. Below I’ve posted some pictures of my system, do...

    Switched to SWG

Thanks! I'm already starting to see it FC level stabilize, its very cool to see it hang there without having to do anything. Now if I could only get the pH to do that but I have a spill over spa and 2 blubbers so I'm still adding acid on a regular basis. I wish someone made an automatic acid...

    Switched to SWG

8800 is whats on the plans from the pool builder so it's the only number I have to go by, I assume it's pretty accurate. I guess I could reduce the run time to 8 hours if need be, we'll see how it works out with the SWG.

    Switched to SWG

That's great, thanks. I've been running for 9 hours since new, that's what the pool builder set it at and it's been working well so I will probably keep it there and only adjust the run time if it becomes necessary.

    Switched to SWG

I've been reluctant moving to a SWG, but for convenience, I made the move. I have an 8800 gallon 2 and a half year old plaster pool and spa that I've been using liquid chlorine except for when I'm away. Because all my equipment is Pentair, I chose the Pentair iChlor 30 purchased and installed...

    PH always 80+

I have the same issue, my pool is 1 year old. My spa inlets create a lot of bubbles and as well as the spa spill over, I have two bubblers on the lounge deck so I think high Ph will be something have to live with.

    bubbler nozzle tube

FYI I emailed Pantair and they asked for pictures because they hadn't heard of this issue. I sent pictures, they said they would cover it under warranty but my pool builder should be able to do it for me. I contacted the pool builder and the guy came out this morning to replace the nozzles...

    Pentair Screenlogic Control Question

There is an address on the Protocol adapter that needs to be put into your app to make it work outside your home network. It's on the label and is XX-XX-XX ( I used X, you need to see what is printed on your PA. It should be inserted as follows (without the quotes) "Pentair: XX-XX-XX Hope...

    Pentair Screenlogic install

Just install the Screenlogic, very easy. I had a small issue with accessing outside of my network but a call to Pentair cleared that up pretty quick. It's not the best home automation app going but it seems to work and does exactly what I needed it to do. I also connected it to my Amazon Echo...

    Pentair Screenlogic install

That's great, I just ordered it, can't wait to get it going. Too many times I'm on my way home and wished I could get the spa going so it would be ready when I got home. The install is probably easier than I think.

    Pentair Screenlogic install

I have the Pentair Easytouch with a wired indoor control panel. I would like to add the Screenlogic interface so I can control it from my iPhone. Is there a installation video of other instructions out there so I can see how to do the install before I buy it?

    bubbler nozzle tube

I have a 6 month old pool with 2 Pentair bubblers on the 6" shelf. I noticed the other day that the nozzle seems to be deteriorating. They are very rough and sticky. I maintain the pool and am confident that the chemical balance is properly maintained (I use the practices and guidelines...

    Heat pump not heating

 I have a Aqualcal pool heat pump that has been working fine until yesterday. The heater is running but not heating, it’s not leaking, there are no obstructions or strange noises or any other signs that might lead me to focus in on anything keeping it from heating. I hosed down the...

Where is a good place to purchase a new pump?

Need to buy a new pump I have about an 18k gal. inground with a spa and it’s time for a new pump. Last year I replaced the motor but I believe that the pump should be replaced. Since it spent a few minutes running without water, it has been getting louder and louder and now it sounds like it...

I put my local Leslie’s pool store out of business!

No, I don't like seeing businesses close or people being put out of work. I cringe every time I hear new unemployment numbers because I know that each one will affect an entire family. But, that being said, nature needs to take its course or we can’t have progress. These times are not the...
