    Adventures in Searching

I had a very large scorpion from Saudi Arabia when I was deployed, but it's long gone. You could hear them walking across hard surfaces. Camel Spiders as big as your hand. A couple weeks ago, I had a scorpion on my work shirt near my collar. It was curled-up and I though ti was a moth. It...

    Adventures in Searching

That's odd. I use the search feature quite often. I entered OTPirate and got a ton of her stuff. Same for stirrer. Not sure if it was just a bad server time frame or something. As for PMs, I'm not aware of anyway to search through those. @Leebo?

    Edit the wiki?

Welcome to TFP! Once you select a topic in Wiki, it should open-up and show some EDIT links that will allow a user to edit those fields. Then at the bottom is the SAVE or CANCEL button. At least that's how I still see it on my computer screen.

    CYA test direction differences

You bring up some valid concerns, and now we have to get back to work. :hammer: All kidding aside, we do like to see instructions standardized for consistency. We'll take a look at the various references. For some things, like staring at the dot, it has evolved over time due to personal...

Cleaning Mud After A Flood: We have a Hayward Sand Filter and Nautilus Dolphin our pool is 23,000 gallons

Many pool store products don't help at all, that's for sure. Depending on what was added and if it made it to the sand, the sand may need to be changed later. But we can come back to that. For now, it's all about proper water testing and getting as much dirt out as possible. I see you have a...

Cleaning Mud After A Flood: We have a Hayward Sand Filter and Nautilus Dolphin our pool is 23,000 gallons

Welcome to TFP! Pools effected by floods take a good amount of work and patience. But two things are extremely critical in the process: 1. Having a TF-100 Test Kit (or Taylor K-2006C) to keep the water from turning into a swamp. See 2. Manually removing as much dirt as possible...

    Search not working

Ahhh yes. I have run into some of those before as well after the new website upgrade. Perhaps a broken link issue for some threads. I don't think that's anything wrong on your end. Lee will confirm for us when he gets a chance.

    In-site Pool Math tab

It's personal preference really. The app does have some of today's newer features built-in, but not everyone uses their phone/apps or cares to use the additional features. In time, I believe TFP'ers will become more comfortable with the app version. As we grow with the new web page though...

bbrock, don't tell anyone (shhhhhhhhhhhh!), but I've always been partial to the web version as well. ;) But I will try the app version more as well to see if I can adjust to it - just like all the changes today.
