    Pump stopped pumping

Ultimately, it was the O ring in the cover of pump inlet basket that was not sealing. Replacing it with a new ring did the trick and the pump is now fully pumping. Thank you all for your ideas and guidance.

    Pump stopped pumping

Followed the advice and opened the pump body. The impeller does not appear broken or clogged. Found two possible problems. The pump diffuser O ring is loose/worn out and was not sealing the diffuser against the pump body. Secondly, there was a glob of white silicon looking material in the body...

How do I convince them that they added too much. Is there any authoritative site I can refer them...

I will do more tests in the morning and report back with results. Newbie: Pool problems and urgency to fix

Checked with the city. Need authorization to drain and refill the pool. In the meantime, what does LOTs of bleach mean, 10 gallon, 100 gallon? Is the 10% worth the premium price?

Newbie: Pool problems and urgency to fix

This is amazing. Thank you. Advice like this cannot be bought @ any price at the pool supply stores. It will keep my 8 year old twin grandsons busy and interested at the same time. My pool guy is the same person the sellers hired to turn the green pool into a blue one before my lender's...

Newbie: Pool problems and urgency to fix

The Kreepy Krawly only goes in a certain pattern and does not clean all of the bottom surface.
