    Pool chemistry for heater

Thanks :) As for the "ph never below 7.2", I assume short stints at 7.0 when you're lowering alk with MA (always back up to 7.6ish after 24 hours of aeration so far) is ok? I had a chance to stop by at lunch and test calcium, our municipal water which was used to fill the pool and the pool...

Best wall brush for vinyl IG?

I need to get a new wall brush. In the past I've used the cheap ones from Walmart and our local pool store (which I refuse to ever go in again), and the plastic bristles always break off and float in the pool or end up in the skimmer basket. There's got to be a better way. I had a link saved...

    500 gallon a day leak

Andy, above water you cut a patch of liner material, slather the backside with adhesive the pool store gave me, fold it over so the adhesive is protected, take a deep breath, dive down, unfold the patch and immediately put in place, push it down, roll it with a small roller working form the...

    500 gallon a day leak

Several years ago we had a big leak. Losing lot's of water daily. Checked all plumbing except the majority under the ground, feared the worst, but when we capped the skimmer, return and main drain, we still lost the same amout of water. I put on a face mask and dove criss cross the entire...

    has anyone used "POOLSKIM"?

I've noticed more pollen this year than ever. The socks won't reduce what is falling into the pool, but they will catch it before it hits the filter, saving you from more frequent cleanings and bleach consumption. I've noticed the pollen isn't near as bad any more. Probably the trees that...
