    Did you ever solve your sync problem? I have the exact same problem. Always have to turn it off and back on with the remote, only to happen again a few minutes later.

    Just cut solar cover to fit!

    Meadow, does the cover lay completely flat on the water everywhere? Also when you cut it, when you put it back onto your pool, if part of the cover is overlapping the other part, it gives the wind something to catch and lift it up. I would assume only half is flying away?

    Just installed a VS pump, What is the optimal pool filter pressure? As i can adjust the rpm to get any pressure i desire, so what is the optimal? From what i been reading i,m seeing 5-15psi and 10-20psi? What is the optimal?

    So 2075 rpm, maybe you got the sweet spot? Seems like you cant go to lower or you wont have much pressure, See what other people chime in and say.

    Tile that goes around the pool fell off, inground pool. Current white glue. What time of glue do i use? Also does it need to be dry or can you do it wet? Would only have to drain a couple inches since the tile is on top. Anyone have a link? Assuming some type of white silicone special too...

    just bought this, A.O. Smith 1.65 HP Variable Speed Pool Pump Motor Square Flange - ECM16SQU - INYOPools.com ao smith 1.65hp variable speed motor square flange. Should pay for itself in about 2-3 years. Is there anything I need to know about installing this? seems fairly easy?

    Pool closing question

    Yes it defiantly reduced the amount of worms and leaves, i would say about 50-75%. Used a 1/2 thick rope. Made it a lot easier to open the pool.

    Well completed it today, went with unions on the bottom, hopefully its ok if they get buried with wood chips a bit? So did i do this correctly? Will test for leaks in 2 hours.

    you are correct again. :). Right side better. The elbow is labeled 2inch, so do i need a 1.5 inch or 2 inch check valve, gonna order on amazon probably. Anyone you recommend?

    How often do check valves go bad?, i see what your saying, raising the whole thing. I dont mind digging as you seen what i had to do to the spa already, 2 days of digging to get it to sit back down level - - - Updated - - - Can i bury a union check valve? - - - Updated - - - Now thinking...

    Hmm, i only need to expose 1 pipe though? Left side seems easier? I must be missing something I mean do exactly what you said but on the left side? Dig 6 inches down on the left pipe and put check valve in. Should i put one with unions? 6 inches enough?

    They are both the same size, the 2 arrows, Jandy valves are 2 inch, Problem i see, is they arent perfectly level across, :(.
