Show off your AGP Deck please!

This is ours at the current moment. We have a weird neighbor who likes to come prop up on the fence and just stare into our yard - their house is slightly higher than ours, so they can see right into our yard easily - so I built this privacy fence wall to block his view. Ha! We are actually...

Pool Rover Junior review-aka Lil Kim

Sorry for the late response. It’s been a little hectic around here. I did find it, and I swapped it out. Thank you! I didn’t realize I needed to do that.

    New above ground. Walls buckling?

Oh wow. I don’t have any advice or any clue as to what would’ve caused it. But I am curious to know if they’ve called you back and handled the problem. I would be super livid.

    18 or 21 pictures?

This is a photo from last year of our 20ft round intex. I don’t have many that show the whole pool. Usually when I took photos, I zoomed in on the kids/people.

    New toy

We have this same float! My sister in law got it as a gag gift for my husband’s birthday party last summer when we had our Intex. (See photo.) It’s fun, but hard to stay on (especially if you’re drinking.) I’m looking forward to pulling it out of the attic and throwing it into the new pool.

Pool Rover Junior review-aka Lil Kim

I ended up ordering this and after having it for over a month, I can say that I absolutely love it. I’ve only used it a few times, but it gets up everything! We had a deck added onto our new pool, and the deck builder got a ridiculous amount of sawdust into the pool. The pool rover jr got it up...

Whats the Best above ground pool vacuum

I have an Aquabot Pool Rover Jr that’s a total time saver. Just toss it in the pool, plug it in the wall and turn it on. It does all the work for you and it doesn’t use hoses, skimmers, or your filter. I haven’t had issues with it getting stuck anywhere and it picks up everything - big leaves...

Adding a Hayward Thru-the-Wall Skimmer to Intex Metal Frame Pool (PICS!

We added it to our 20ft x 48” deep Intex pool last year, but not above the seam. We put it right against it though. We just didn’t want to risk it eventually ripping the seam outwards if we cut through it to put the skimmer there. We no longer have this pool (when we took it down last summer...

Pool Rover Junior review-aka Lil Kim

I’m curious about this. I have had it saved to my Amazon wish list for about a week now. I’m just wondering, do you think it’d do well for an above ground pool? Ours is 15x30ft oval, 52” deep.

    Complicated situation regarding mustard algae

The spots on the floor were a sandy color. When they poofed, they poof up a very light brownish color. As of 5 minutes ago, I looked at the water again. Still clear. No spots to be found. Some tiny white stuff floating around but that's it. We are in the way to the pool store now to buy a vacuum...

    Complicated situation regarding mustard algae

This morning's numbers before sun up: FC 31 (it held!) and CC 0.5 Water is clear. I can see the liner all over. I'm curious- What makes you think so? Because I'm beginning to wonder myself. Although the water was finally clear this morning and I could see the liner everywhere, there were...

    Complicated situation regarding mustard algae

Photo from this morning. You can't tell here, but I could actually see the pattern of the vinyl You can still some stuff on the floor. Testing, brushing, and adding more chlorine to keep it at shock level throughout the day. When doing the CC test, if it doesn't turn pink at all, that...

According to the bottle, 0.26% per bottle, and I used 3 bottles. Absolutely! Much cheaper, much easier. I just wasn't prepared to try that way without the good test kit. Butt now, it's on! I have read it multiple times, and bookmarked it, as well as the page that shows the proper shock levels...

    Complicated situation regarding mustard algae

At the pool store on Monday, my CYA level was 35. The only thing I've done since then (chemically) is add the PhosFree. Could my CYA numbers really have changed that much in 2 days for no reason, or is it possible I did the test wrong? I can redo if I need to.

    Complicated situation regarding mustard algae

I'll try to make this as short as possible while still giving all relevant information. Got my pool in early April and even with two birthday parties with way more kid in the pool than I've ever had before, I've had no issues with it or chemistry until now. We recently had 9 days in a row of...

What did you do to your pool today?

Today I drained 3 inches to get it below the skimmer - for the THIRD time in the past 8 days, due to nonstop rain. Ugh!! Spent 45 minutes vacuuming all the dirt out from the storms and then the kids got in to play for a bit, til the mosquitos took over.
