    CYA low. No Chlorine

I have bleach (plain 10%) and MA on hand but wasn't sure about CYA. I so don't want my pool to turn green or cloudy. The TFP way of taking care of my pool has been so easy and want to stay on top of every little thing. Thank you for your help!

    CYA low. No Chlorine

My pool is crystal clear but noticed I've had to add more chlorine lately. I tested today and here are my readings. FC=0 CC=0 TC=0 PH=8+ Maybe like 8.2 TA=140 CYA= I filled it to the very top of tube and the dot disappeared. So like 20-25? What should I add/adjust first and what/ where do I get...

That was it...it was 0 with the FAS-DPD test kit. I had actually forgot you could test with that kit because I've been doing the FC for so long and multiple times a day. Thanks for your help, and sorry! So now I just let my FC drop down to swim levels and then just test like normal?

It doesn't smell bad of chlorine at the pool. But I did add water to the pool yesterday and sometimes our tap water has a really bad chlorine smell inside our house...like bad enough our eyes will burn. I normally call them and they come flush the line. And I did notice it was that way...

I can't remember for sure if has or hasn't been that level before. But just 10% bleach and then I did the D.E. Saturday. That's all I have added since I started on here.

Help! I've spent over 900$ in three weeks and still can't swim!

I think I might be done with my SLAM. My water is clear, i passed the overnight FC loss test but I tested my CC and it is 2. I went ahead and just tested all my numbers to share. With my FAS/DPD test my FC = 9.5 All other reading are from my other test kit FC=5 TC=3 CC=2 PH=7.4 TA=110 CYA=35 So...

Help! I've spent over 900$ in three weeks and still can't swim!

Thank you! I'm still trying to find where it could be coming from. I noticed it after I had the pool guy change my sand. I turned the air release valve and that didn't help. So maybe air is coming in at more then one place.

Help! I've spent over 900$ in three weeks and still can't swim!

Okay...I think I'll go ahead and try it. Also I tried to find where my air was coming in at with the water hose and had no luck. Any other ideas? And exactly what happens if you have air in your line? I've read that it slows your suction but does it hurt anything else?

Help! I've spent over 900$ in three weeks and still can't swim!

So I was planning on adding the D.E. to my filter tomorrow, because I'm off work, but when I was home on my lunchbreak today I could see the bottom of my pool. Yay!! Still a little cloudy but way better than Tuesday when I wrote last. Should I still go through with adding the D.E. or just see...

Okay...I'll try that...i sure hope I dont have to dig up the part that is under ground. But wouldn't it be pulling in dirt if the leak was under ground or would the filter it before i coukd see it? And also I just had my sand changed like 3 weeks ago. So yeah I don't think it would be...

Yeah...no one I know has a DE filter. So I'll look at the pool store...i have a credit there anyways. Also I've noticed my pump basket isn't filling up all the way with water like it use to. I see bubbles coming out the return now alot. The water level sits just below the lid now...but my water...
