Upgrading from an Intex to AGP - need insight!

Also, because it will still be going strong in a few years, it will be a selling point if you do decide to sell. For a little extra money, The more attractive pool will not only be attractive while you enjoy it, but also might woo the potential buyer a little more.

    Solar cover

You buy an oversized rectangle and cut it to fit. They are relatively cheap at a couple hundred bucks. You might even find the size you need on sale somewhere for $178. Intheswim always has them cheap. Buy the thin one. They all rip and the lighter cover is much easier to move for as long...

Just Bought a 26' Intex - Looking for suggestions on upgrades as I start the planning/build process

the best part was just pulling up a little of a corner on a really cold night and hot tubbing like it was a warm blankie tucked up your neck.

Just Bought a 26' Intex - Looking for suggestions on upgrades as I start the planning/build process

its Not letting me copy the link at the moment but amazon has a 12ftx 24ft for $37. Intheswim might be even cheaper. With that size you’d have plenty of excess to make new pieces every few years and you would more than get your money’s worth.

Just Bought a 26' Intex - Looking for suggestions on upgrades as I start the planning/build process

That leak very well could be evaporation only. If the water is 103 degrees warmer than the air and you have a loose seal...... you’re probably lucky to have any water left at all. I cut a scrap piece of my solar cover to fit the hot tub and it helped substantially with heat retention and...

    Auto Cover POST Pool Build

They are garaunteed to fail if given enough time in the northeast. Thats not to say that nobody has one, just that they would have to be double protected like Maddie said. If the blizzard hit when the pool was frozen, the ice would probably support the snow drifts. If the bliazzard hit...

    Sucking Jets

Check this one out. https://www.troublefreepool.com/threads/jets-not-working-after-fresh-fill.9426/ I had similar problems. If it was just a couple of jets i would try a shop vac on the dead ones to try and get the air out of those lines.

And upon further reflection, I need to completely retract this. When people talk about the ‘colder’ months of sping and fall, it is also the ‘shoulder’ months of winter. So autocorrect messes it up but it is still right. Dang auto correct knows more than we do sometimes.

    Admins please advise # 2

Fair enough then. I gladly stand corrected on that instance. But it does happen many times by accident. Just a thought.
  25. N

    Admins please advise # 2

As a side note, by googling I just learned that ‘shoulder months’ is actually a thing. It refers to the early/late time of a season when it’s warmer/cooler but not enough to turn on the heat/AC. And also for travel it is cheaper because of less demand to go somewhere nicer when it’s not...

Or we keep talking about the shoulder water during the shoulder months. Which, again, I find hysterical.

Yes. But the forum then auto corrects also afterwards if it’s bad language. So the site could in theory correct the device correct.

    Admins please advise # 2

Hey all. I get to laugh about 75 times a day everytime somebody uses the word *colder*. All of our devices autocorrect it to *shoulder*, and with the rare exception of discussing my blown rotator cuff in my actual shoulder, They never mean shoulder. Can the software that edits out bad...

Harbor Freight has hand trucks in the $50 range and it would be somewhat manageable to move with 2 people. They also have many other dolleys etc.
