I really should have used my robot for this but I wasn’t thinking. Unfortunately a fairly large amount was at the bottom of the pool and I swept it to the main drains expecting it to get sucked into the filter so I could use my shop vac to get it out but when I pulled my cartridges out there didn’t seem to be all of the sand that was sucked up so I am concerned it’s sitting in the plumbing lines probably around angled fittings. It doesn’t seem to be causing any issues with pressure but my ADD is kicking in and I feel like I need to do something. I have seen these “drain bladders” that you can attach a hose to and it pushes out with water pressure and can be inserted into the pump basket area and I can switch to main drain only so it pushes back the other way but since there isn’t actually a clog not sure it’ll do much.

Thanks.

What model pump do you have?

What valves do you have on your suction line?

Post pics of your equipment pad.

I think you are worried about nothing and any sand will come out in time.

I don’t have the model number handy for the pump.

Is it a VS pump?

If VS what RPM are you running it at?

VSP, yes. When the controller was set up they set it in two speed mode (I’ve been meaning to go back and change it but haven’t) 4 hours 80% and 5 hours at 50%.

I changed it to 100% for several hours and switched valve to main drain only for an additional boost to suck up what it could but didn’t notice anything. Might be a non-issue just figured I would ask anyway.
