Brief general overview:

Pool built in 2016, I have a Jandy single speed pump that could possibly be going out, or air leak? I have two skimmers on opposite ends of the pool, and the MD, (2). I clean my cartridge filter twice yearly, Spring, Fall.

Towards the end of the season, beginning Fall I started seeing a bigger then usual air bubble in the pump basket, I kinda ignored it cleaned the skimmer baskets thinking air might have been sucked in etc..
I noticed the bubble had gotten bigger, thinking air leak somewhere, I read all threads regarding this point, purchased new basket O-ring, cleaned the cartridge filters, added some grease to the filter basket to try and hold a seal better and remedied the bubble.

I came back from a few day vacation and everything was normal, besides leaves galore and I adjusted the valves to remove suction off the skimmers to remove the baskets and clean. After adjusting back, I can't remedy the bubbles.

I completely moved the suction to both skimmers, with no change. As well as doing the same with the MD.

I checked the drain plugs at the bottom of the pump and all seem well, drained and cleaned filter basket again, no found air leaks around any joints.

Only thing I can think of is impeller debris, pump failing, air leak, looking for any suggestions.

Didn't get a chance to test anything with a hose, forgot I winterized them with the last cold spell.

You have three diverter valves on the suction side. Any of them could have a leaking O ring and sucking in air. Wrap them with Saran wrap and see if your bubbles go away.

I can’t figure this out! The pump basket is 1-2 inches low on water. Wrapped them with plastic wrap, watered the pump down. The lid was my suspect forever, new gasket, no lube, lubed, removed all lube.

Was thinking to purchase a new lid, but when I removed the lid this last time it had huge suction opening it up, now I’m thinking lid is fine!

Jandy valve now suspect.

I took apart all 3, resealed, all new orings, no change. Ugh.

EDIT: When I wrapped with syran wrap I most likely did it wrong, my first best guess this time is going to put the main diverter as suspect.

One additional data point that I noticed yesterday while observing the equipment was that the filter PSI reading seemed a little high, 25-30 possibly if I recall correctly. This makes me think it could have been the dirty filters and I didn't clean them well enough, or that they could possibly be needing replaced? These are the original cartridge filters that came with the pool, do they have a certain timeframe of replacing?

My cartridge filters went out, or got super dirty with pollen, leaf debris, etc.. I read the cartridge filters "should" be replaced every 1-2 years, I understand that the manufacturers would like this, but I didn't know if they actually do have a time clock?

I called around and these filters are very expensive locally, online seems like a gamble with the reviews, however I did find a couple of Made in the USA online stores that might do the trick. Anyone have any luck in these secondary filter cartridges?

Nope. As long as you haven't added some junk to the water that could plug them up with a coating like a floc or clarifier, cartridge filters should last several years. I have a couple of them that are 6 to 8 years old now. They are discolored a bit but otherwise work fine.

Gotcha! These are also working on 7-8 years old, I presume when I rushed to clean these this winter, (not Fall) I didn't get them clean enough, rushed it....

Have not added anything like that, TFP rules here. I'll have clean filters I can rotate in and out now...
