With bleach going up to $17.98 for 2 gallons at Home Depot it’s time to make the change, anyone have recommendations for a quality saltwater chlorine generator?

We have hard water locally which sucks but it is what we have.

Gets really hot here in the summer in Mesa, AZ I was using upwards of 5PPM of FC per day, at 50-60 CYA if that maters.

I appreciate the help!

Your signature does not show an automation system. Correct?
Standalone SWCG look at Circupool and Hayward. There are off brand models for less, but buyer beware.

SWCG is the way to go here in the desert. Just manage your pH, TA, and CH. Are you using soft water for fill water?

It's not the cheapest, but my last pool had a Pentair Intellichlor (IC20/IC40/IC60). It was a beast and I went that route again for pool #2.

Most brands have a budget model and they aren't as 'robust' as my compadre above likes to say. For those on a shoestring budget, it gets them in the game, so I appreciate them for what they are, but go in eyes open if you buy one.

No automation, no softened water unfortunately
