Why are my hoses crimping?

Currently have the auto vacuum running and the hoses are crimping. Photos attached. Filter pressure also about 50% of normal.

Could be a clog in the cleaner or further down the hose. Try disconnecting the cleaner and holding the end of the hose under water to see if the pressure goes up.
 
Once a hose starts to do that, the lightest blockage will cause it to happen again. The ridges in the hose are there to both allow it to bend and to give structure. You should replace the hose after you find out what is blocking the suction. Its just like a straw in soda, tea, etc. Get something to block it and it will collapse.
