How quickly after ascorbic acid treatment should I add the sequestrant? Does it have to be immediately? Or can it be a few days later? (Wondering if I should go to the local pool store to buy it or order on Amazon) I plan to do the AA treatment today.
Thanks!

I did see that. I’m wondering if I need to add it within minutes or hours of when the stain is gone. It just says “after the stain is lifted”.
Or maybe better asked this way, how long can I wait to add it before it’s been too long? Is there any downside if I wait a day or two?

I would add it right away. Since the iron is still suspended in the same water, it can react as soon as you start increasing the FC again. That's another reason the instructions say to increase the FC slowly and watch for stains that ay try to return. The sequestrant helps with that regard.
