I usually buy liquid chlorine in bulk and automatically add daily doses with peristaltic pump on a timer. However, I have not gotten my chlorine yet and was just adding jugs of bleach to get by until I do. I made the mistake of adding some of the splash free formula bleach and now my water is cloudy and sudsy. Do I need to drain the entire pool or will it clear up over time? Pump has been running for a week now and no improvement. Is the stuff even safe to swim in? I'm not sure exactly how much I added, possibly 4 or 5 gallons over several weeks. 30000 gal concrete pool, cartridge filter

Thanks. It took about a week, but it did clear up.
I did nearly the same thing at "pre-startup" this year. I was out of chlorine, and the stores did not have a fresh date in yet. Knew not to buy any "splashless" bleach. Double-checked the label, and all was good. Added both gallons over a two-week period. This was well before opening; just running in recirculate mode with winter cover still on. As I was tossing the last empty bottle, I saw the "CloroMax" 
label on the back.
