My pool builder should be finished by the end June. I’m curious how long I need to wait before starting up the SWG. What’s the order of operations I should follow once I get the fill water in?

Add your salt, CYA stabilizer, and some chlorine while it is filling. Get it well mixed and start it up.

Wow that sounds easier than I had imagined. Im supposed to have a 4th of July party. Assuming they finish by the end of this month do you think we could be swimming by the 4th?

Absolutely. Will the surrounding area be reclaimed? Might get some dirt in the pool.

You can swim right away! Your water may be a little cold unless you have a heater. Also note that the SWCG does make chlorine, but you will want to initially use liquid chlorine to get your chlorine level where you want it and let the SWCG maintain that level.
