Argh! I ran out of R-0871 FAS-DPD. I did order some from the Taylor site yesterday but I'm not sure when it's going to get here. What can I use to test the Free Chlorine?? Should I just put a little bit of bleach in the pool each day to ensure I dont get low? Or should I go to the pool store and get the crappy testing strips in the meantime?

Have you checked to see if the pool store has any? My pool store carries all the necessary Taylor testing chemicals. I do check the dates on the bottles since some of them get outdated.
is it legitimately Taylor made stuff? I read somewhere to be careful of ordering it off of Amazon. But if I can do that, I definitely will!
