Actually pool builder just messaged and said they only light acid washed. They will be back tomorrow to do a second acid wash! Wahoo!

Hi Wendy, I just joined, new to TFP website. Wife and I just retired to Lake Limestone and "need" a pool. I love your pool. Has everything I'm after, swim up bar, hot tub, etc. Do you think your builder would travel this far, west of Centerville (20 miles west of 45)? I've been calling Waco & Cstat builders, but minimal traction from them. Any other suggestions?

Jealous of y'all living in my favorite part of the state. I so wish I could find some reasonable land down in that vicinity and build a dream home. Born a west Texas boy, but spent some of the best years of my life at A&M and really fell in love with the area. I have relatives that have lived in Mexia and Groesbeck a long time. Nice area.

The property here has gone crazy in the last 3 years. 3k an acre to 20k! It’s unbelievable. It’s going to be awful when the housing market crashes again

They came and acid washed today. At noon started filling the pool up. This picture was about 7 hours in. Still a long way to go.
Still no equipment. Hoping for tomorrow.
Apparently when the plaster company came on the holiday it knocked a hole in the time-space continuum.

I understand. The crazy people with money to burn came here and blew up our property values too. 34 hours later, pool is full, (it’s dark so here was a pic of it close) waiting on hot tub to fill so I can go to sleep! What’s funny, I thought the pool would have been filled up sometime last night. Got up at 5am expecting it to be overflowing and it was no where close!

I thought about you as soon as I read about it this morning! Are they thinking he was at that house whole time? SO MAD about that poor family. All I can say we all KNOW where he is now!!!! It is VERY hot there and they have a room just for him!!

No, the people had just gotten into the property yesterday, they were seen and talked to and then stopped responding to calls and messages so their families raised the alarm. It was brutal. They (our guys) have said he was in the woods - about a 3 mile area, this entire time. If you don’t live here you wouldn’t understand how thick it is. You can’t walk into it, he would have to crawl through. It’s so thick out there the night vision couldn’t pick up anything more than a few feet in. Our guys had been wanting to burn him out, but since they didn’t have “confirmed” data that he was there and it’s all privately owned property

We are hanging in there. We got plaster and water and it looks amazing. BUT we have a leak. It was a really awful leak. Come to find out the mason doing the wall on the back side of our pool popped a nail into the wall to hold the split face in place and hit a pipe. Didn’t know because there wasn’t water in the pool. Luckily the pool guys could tell where it was and found it. It’s not fixed yet, but isolated so we aren’t losing water. It’s a pipe to the water features. Hopefully when they fix it, it will be the last of the problems. When it happened they stopped everything else and just focused on that. So right now we have the pump wired into our breaker, lights aren’t hooked up yet and neither is the air blower.

Oh my. Well, not the worst and it will get fixed. Inconvenient, but it will be a distant memory soon. Pool looks great. Enjoy.

I have a funny story to tell y’all. I wish I could figure out how to post a video because it was hilarious, but
I scored so big this week. I found Ledge Loungers for my tanning ledge on a beg and barter site for a steal $250 each. I drove 5 hours round trip to get them. After we loaded them in the car the lady said I have some floating orbs that I want to sell too if you’re interested. She was holding some that were about 12-14”. She said they glow and I have quite a few, some other sizes, $50 for all of them. I was like that’s a great deal, I’ll take them. She walked out of the house with these GIGANTIC balls. I’ve never seen them this big before. There were 3 of each size
The biggest is over 2’ tall!
I didn’t warn my hubby, got home and he was like WTF are those and where are we going to keep them? He’s not wrong, they take up a TON of space
. But what a deal!!!
