Whelp. I made a rookie mistake, didn't mess anything up, but feel pretty silly. I am not sure what cold temps do to CYA, but I had zero in my pool at the start of this season. I thought my SWG wasn't working correctly as I was loosing chlorine so fast. I felt I had the chemicals down to a science, didn't need to check ALL the chemicals all the time, I am a PRO.

Having no CYA makes a HUGE difference, crazy...

Lesson learned.

C.Y.A going forward and stay on top of your testing.

CYA degrades on its own at 4-5ppm a month. And most of us get around 3 ft of off season precipitation giving us a half or more free water exchange. Both losses are barely noticeable month over month during the season, but when you close or stop testing for several months they add up to a good chunk of loss. :)
