Due to water intrusion, I just killed Replacement motor on my Hayward super pump. Replacement motor was a two sped with a timer that I quite liked but cannot seem to find again. Pump is about 16 years old, no cracks, but wondering if I should just replace the whole thing.
Recommendations? We have a three month pool season at best, 23,000 gal vinyl.
Thanks.

Post a pic of your motor data plate.

DOE regulations have prohibited the sale of single speed and two speed pumps greater then 2 HP - read Pump DOE Regulations - Further Reading

If you can't find a two speed motor then you can get a VS motor like the VGreen VS. Or get a new VS pump for your 3 month season.

Posted below. Yes, I know I need to fix my leak :) thanks!

You need to choose if you put your money towards an electrician or a new pump.

Hayward has the SP26115VSP 0.85 HP VS pump that runs on 120V.

Some folks here have been happy with the Calimar or Black & DEcker VS pump but that requires 230V.
