807,

Yes.. Each system needs is own set of transceivers.. They are not interchangeable.

They both connect to the same RS-485 com port in the EasyTouch..

You can run both of them at the same time.

Is this a new system??? If so, I have no idea what your pool builder was thinking going with a Pentair Remote vs ScreenLogic.

I use my PC 99% of the time to control my pool. I rarely use my phone.. It works, but I find that the PC works better for me.

Thanks,

Jim R.

the pool and equipment was put in 2016, the pool builder was arrested and went out of business when pool was being built, so i was happy just to get a working pool, many did not.

807,

He should have been arrested just for installing that remote...

Many of our members often say their pool builder was a criminal, but you are the first one that can prove it... :thumleft:

Thanks for the smile..

I like the remotes, and they certainly make it easy for people other than me to operate the pool. A guest asked, "Can I turn on the spa?" I replied, "Sure, there's the remote. Press Menu until it lights up, then press Spa." I don't need to hand over my phone (or even find it).

I agree, I find the remote easy to use and operate.
Wish they made a wall bracket for it
I thought adding the screenlogic would be a $150 upgrade but for $550 not worth it to me.

I agree. Fortunately, I also have the wired, wall-mounted remote (because I was able to reuse the cable already there from the previous Compool wired remote). It is good to have a controller indoors which you cannot lose and you always know where it is. :)
