Hayward SwimPure Plus Reading Zero Salt

I've read some other threads about this, but I'm not seeing an answer. Our Hayward SwimPure Plus began reading salt levels of only 400, then 200, then zero. Manually checking the salt it is around 3400. We checked the SWG which is 6 months old and it definitely needed cleaning. It is now all clean, but same thing was happening. We contacted a local service and they said motherboard needed replacing. They did replace it (it was fairly corroded inside) and it worked properly for the rest of the day with salt reading 2800. When we turned it on the next day it was 200, then 100 then 0. Instant reading is 0 as well. The person who replaced the motherboard said call Hayward. They are useless. Can anyone help?

For AquaRite, move the switch from auto to off and check all of the readings.

Move the switch back to auto and recheck the readings.

Move the switch to off for a minute and then back to auto and recheck the readings.

Switching the unit off and then back on makes the unit reverse polarity.

Report all readings.

What are the first seven characters of the cell and box serial numbers?

What is the actual salinity and how are you measuring it?

What is the T-cell size?

Is the T-cell size set correctly in settings?

It is under warranty.

Did they charge you anything?

Why was it corroded at 6 months old?

Do you have pictures of the insides of the box including the display board and the whole main circuit board?

The Cell is a Hayward T-Cell 15 by CMP Replacement Turbo Salt Cell 40K PN5200-115-100 Serial No 07619060 purchased 4/5/21. Has been working fine until recently. We found it was very dirty and cleaned it. Looks squeaky clean now.

Panel is Hayward SwimPure Plus SWP15 I have this number written down on the manual, not sure if this is the serial number: 3A14345-116648

Using Clorox Salt Pool Test Strips reading was 6.8 = 3740 yesterday

The salt cell is under warranty. It was dirty and we cleaned it. It looks good now.

The mother board is older. At least 5 years or more. I have the original receipt but for some reason Leslie's Pools did not put the year on it. Only the month and day. We live one block off the bay so everything is salty here. My husband saw the inside of the motherboard when it was changed the other day. It had a lot of flaky white residue inside. They charged us for part and labor on it. Once replaced it seemed to be working fine all that first day. When we turned it off that night and back on the next morning salt reading was at 400, then 200, then 100, then 0 over an hour or two. Today when we turned it on it was at 100 then 0.

UPDATE: thanks for the info, I contacted CMP directly. Customer service was great {although I had to hold for a bit}. I gave them the amp readings and they are sending me a replacement under warranty. Very easy to deal with them. I received an email confirmation right away and they do not want the old one back. Hopefully this fixes the problem, I will keep you posted. Thank you to JamesW and Bob Jakob for your answers!
