Congrats on the new build. While you may have found this site late, now you should know you'll need a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C test kit as soon as water goes in to do your own testing, so be sure to have one of those ready. Other than that, good luck! :swim:

Welcome to TFP :)

Just did your pool volume.. you are around 28,000 gallons.. PoolMath

The first thing, your SWG is way to small.. you need to replace it and get the IC 60.. I doubt the IC 20 will keep up running 24/7 for your pool.. we recommend at least 2 times the size SWG and that is the IC 60..

Your filter is great size..

Your pump is great

Thanks for the feedback! I will have to track down my PB and see about upgrading to the IC60 since the IC20 is still in the box and not installed yet. What kind of mark up should I expect?

You should look into Automation. With a spa, lights, SWCG, etc you will regret not getting automation.

Intellicenter is what you want. The SWCG power center will be integrated into it.

If I can't get this now, is this something I can replace later with the IC60?
This morning I added the spa and pool together and I should have kept them separate..

Your volume will be about 17k to 18k.. So yes the IC 20 will work by running your pump 24/7 and the cell at 100% or close to 100%

The IC 40 or 60 will work if you can get one of them... the IC 40 will allow you to run about 12 hours and the IC 60 about 7 hours a day...

Tile just got installed yesterday, now waiting for plaster. Im going with the mini pebble tec midnight blue with blue glass added. The PB said 2 bags (at $200 per bag) was more than enough.
