It might be good to do another OCLT. Before that, be sure to inspect all areas of the pool very carefully since we know algae can hide in all kinds of places (Behind lights with a niche, under a drain cover, etc) or anything else submerged in the water.

What do you mean by hiding behind the lights? I'm having a similar problem. I have Pentair Intellibrites and they say they aren't watertight, rather, the water is supposed to fill up the conduit under the ground. Can that be lurking with algae that is affecting my chlorine?

The larger lights often have a hollow niche space behind them. The area gets stale and algae can begin to grow back there. That doesn't apply to pools with the smaller 3" LED lights that have no niche.

Hmm... I do have the smaller lights, but there is a niche they go into, and I don't see anything that would seal it. I think there is water in the electrical conduit. I can't imagine how to clean that out.

One of these was replaced after it was filled. They just gave it a half turn and pulled it out. Water filled the niche and electrical conduit (They are all filled with water since there isn't any kind of seal on them. I have seven). The conduit runs about 100 feet and then it's raised above the water line where it connects to the transformer.

Those are nicheless lights. The conduit fills with water. That is not a concern. No light gets into the conduit so algae cannot grow.
