...and we’re enjoying the hot tub for the first time in about three weeks. Quite pleasant in here, though ice is forming in my glass of homemade hard cider! My ears are a tad cold but not terrible, and there’s some ice in my hair.

How is everyone else enjoying the cold snap?

I didn’t like my baseball hat on the regular way, the brim caught too much steam. But wearing it backwards or grabbing a Woolie/fleece hat worked wonders.

You had something about a blizzard and a tub that couldn’t maintain temp uncovered.... :p

We had tried a few weeks ago while it was snowing with wind, it was completely miserable having snow blow into your face and we quickly abandoned it. But with little wind and no snow it was quite nice.

When faced with the same situation, I changed seats and sunk down lower. The snow went right over the back/top of my hat. 😁

This was earlier- accuweather said it was 13 degrees - fluffy stuff coming down.
I really need to get my curtains or roll up blinds on my patio to help block some wind/ precipitation.
I used the towel turban method along w/ my hot coffee ☕. Nice & toasty.

Still in the 30’s here but we’re expecting several inches of snow and ice tomorrow. Enjoying the grill

Tomorrow there’s already no school and we’re expecting a cancelation Tuesday too so we had to setup something to keep the kids busy. Took the AirMatt down into the basement and likely won’t see the kids for a few days
