Looks like they did a great job! Does it look as good in person?

I watched them take time with measurements. I am still impatient for the whole thing to be done, but I appreciate not getting the details rushed. As for the looks...when the sun hits the tiles they do glow. Happy so far.

G'day. Things are going but s-l-o-w-l-y. Guess I'll have a war story to tell when it's all done. Digging started at the end of April, but they're still working on the deck (2-man crew since July 3) and bits and pieces are unfinished.

I know there's been a crush of folks getting pools this year. I think PB is spreading out the crews and therefore slowing down the progress. There hasn't been an unusual amount of rain, just lots of sunny days with nothing going on.

Regret not going with smaller, local PB.

Man that is a very cool design. Big fan of the materials you chose....so you know its not just you and GA. The PB's here in NTX are overloaded and its taking them almost double the time to get subs to do work. Even the little things like getting a bid is a 3 week wait. Good luck to the finish!

So...this will be one of those war stories. Had to flex with the threat of legal action to make the PB move. The decking took 4 months since early July to complete, and nothing else was done during that time. Finally just got them to install the 2 tcell940 salt cells and 2 GVA24 valve actuators and other miscellaneous items that have just been left hanging untill the last minute.

I now expect to schedule the pebble finish by next week. SHEESH!!!

4 months for the deck?!?! Your gunite and plumbing were complete in June and you completely missed out on swimming this season. How? Why? Do you get any $ off? So many questions...

Taking Forever...my bad for not putting a performance timeline in the contract. (Note to others) The squabble was blamed on increased demand for work crews, but the deck team was just a 2-man show. Some days they'd show...some days not. Nothing else was ongoing and after a month the PB stopped work claiming that the half built deck required payment?!!!

Weeks went by in the impasse.
Between covid-19 already keeping the big summer splash from happening, and the reality that the summer would be gone soon...even in Georgia...I dug in.

It got ugly. Still is. PB then blamed the delay on the fence not being complete. BS. The fence takes 3 days to complete and there were weeks of work left for them to do before plaster. Took the threat of legal action to budge. This week I made them install the salt cells and actuators and lighting control and spa steps. Will schedule plaster in a few days.IMG_20201121_075506842.jpgIMG_20200504_144749098_HDR.jpg For me... lessons learned.

Amazing looking pool. Sounds to me like your PB is having cash flow problems. Good luck with the rest of your build and keep a close eye on things.

No doubt. Foreman says they had 30-40 going. Hoping to have it cured and seasoned by Christmas. Santa is going to sip Irish coffee in the spa before sledding on!

Usually you want to wait on the heater for 30 days, so that all of the plaster dust is settled and does not get into the heater. Hopefully santa brings you plaster soon.

Looks good came out really nice. Hows the weather down there in winter. That area doesnt winterize pools/spas?

This will be my second winter in the south. Last winter was charming compared to Maryland. PB came by yesterday to protect equipment and pipes from freezing as a cold snap dropped in on us. I expect to only run the pump during winter days below 35 degrees and that shouldn't be a lot.

Now if they'll just get these last few items done and finish *sigh*

This story is just too painful to tell. Lions and Lawyers and Tears...oh my. Made the evening news and then some.

Finally...Wet Edge Signature Matrix Cadet Blue. A day and a half to fill. Now about those links @kimkats

That looks awesome!!! I am hopeful that over time enjoying the pool your pain of the build will fade some.............but you made the news??? OUCH! But glad it is done.

What is left for the PB to do? Let us know if you need some help to do it yourself.
