Ive seen a couple of these threads, but I'm running my unit at 100% six hours a day, and it should, by my calculations, give me 1ppm per hour ran. 3.1lbs of chlorine produces per 24hrs , is this maybe in super chlorinate mode? I'm am going to do and OCLT tonight to rule that out.
RJ-60 installed, chlorine lower than expected.

The CYA was a big deal for me and my 45+. After I passed an OCLT, I found that if my CYA wasn't at a firm 70 or higher, FC would not hold well against this brutal south TX sun, and I know the AZ sun is just as brutal from Jun - Sep.

On the RJ series, the super chlorinate mode just runs at 100% for up to 24 hours. Your math for 1 PPM per hour is pretty darn close, so could be a CYA issue.
Edit: I don't know how the duty-cycle is affected by the super chlorinate mode.

I checked my CYA, it is 55. I will dissolve some more stabilizer in a sock. get it up to 75-80.
