Spa jet fell off

What’s the trick for putting this back in? Doesn’t appear to be threaded and I also tried to push it in. Also, which way does the black washer go?

It looks like something melted the inside of the fitting. That does not look right.

@RDspaguy any ideas?

I don’t know how it would have melted. Are you sure it’s not the water flowing out that is obscuring the image?

Turn off the pump, dry it out, and get a good inside pic. I think I see the tabs on the jet that should snap into notches on the fitting.

I’ll try that tomorrow. If nothing broke off, I should be able to line it up and then just push to snap it in?

You can't put it back in the bearings blew apart. That's where the little silver balls came from. Turn the whole jet counterclockwise until it stops then force it further and it will pop out. Post a pic so I can find the right one.

Silver balls? I did not notice any silver balls.

Well they came out and went somewhere. One for each little divot in the black plastic ring. Is this a portable spa or an inground?
Doesn't matter. Pull the jet and post a pic from the side so I can figure out which brand you have.

It’s only a year old. The PB is sending someone out to look at it. I don’t want to risk breaking it more.

Perfect. With rotating jets this will happen from time to time. I would suggest you watch how it's done for future reference.

PB already came out and fixed it. They replaced the entire housing, something had broken off. Took about 15 mins, and most of that time was partially draining and refilling the spa

RDspa...is that bearing ring and set just like the type of bearing sets inside a robot re the axles? Looks like Jim lost more than the bearing but the other side that holds in the bearings? Jim, you might want to ask your PB where did the bearings/parts go? Wouldnt want those coming back thru the pump...good luck.

I couldn't say, I don't work on cleaners. The other piece may be in the "housing" that was replaced, which is actually called the internal or barrel.
