Needle valve for the Liquidator

Hi. I have been using the Liquidator for a long time now w/the 3/8" upgrade. I have been thinking of getting a Needle valve to control the flow. I was thinking about this one, since its relatively cheap

It cheaper too, both for the push on and barbed versions, even if you include shipping. Also from my experience, push on connections do not work well on the suction side (output) of the Liquidator.
 
I'm using a Hayward NV10025T and it's absolutely brilliant for the Liquidator. You can get one for ~$20, and it's worth every penny.
