Will this works as an aerator if I place it on the steps?

I'm looking for hassle-free solution, need to lower my TA.

Get creative. I discovered by chance that ½" PVC fittings are a snug friction fit in my return eyeballs. Ram a 45 elbow in and a short length of pipe and suddenly there's water arcing across the pool!

If you'd rather not mess with that, use a submersible with a garden hose thread and screw a sprinkler on. Set it on the step and you're done.
