I ordered this from Margaret @ Marina and I could not be happier. Ordered it on 7/1 and got it 7/5. Put it in the pool this morning and it did it's thing. The WiFi connectivity is much better than Bluetooth as far as connection flexibility. I find manual drive works best when you are on the same network (I have several), although the app will make appropriate adjustments to establish a connection even if you're not. The cart is pretty flimsy, but functional. I intend not to leave it in the pool, but just use it once a week, rinse and store. Any veterans of robots have any suggestions for care and maintenance? The instructions said FC should be less than 4, but I think since I'm pulling it out after each use I shouldn't have any problems.

Also, the foam rollers are deformed a bit due to packaging... but put it in the pool for 30 minutes BEFORE you start cleaning and shape will be restored.

Below are a few quick videos which show basic function. Glad I waited for this. It's like Christmas today.... The Navigator is going back in the shed for eternity! :)

The FC thing is the typical statement. We hope you have CYA in your water, whereas that FC level is never achieved as they assume 0 CYA.

I leave our robot in the pool during the summer, removing it to clean the filters once a week. It runs every other day, at least.

I thought I read somewhere those foam rollers are to be removed prior to use.

NO!!! In theory, they help the robot climb the walls, but mine fell apart after about 4 or 5 years and my robot does not care, it still climbs the walls just fine. When I replace the brushes I'm going to get the ones without the spots for the foam rollers..

Holy moly ... didn’t know they had a new model. That thing is cool lookin! Wi-fi would certainly be useful vs BT. Bluetooth was very buggy and slow, for me. I think I drove my dolphin around the block once then gave up on me driving.

We get a lot of leaves in our pool, so I am constantly getting the leaves off the ground to prevent the filter alarm going off and stopping the cycle on my am 400.

I really really like the big filter basket. That thing looks like it holds a whole Crud ton of stuff and not get clogged up, like the little cartridges on mine. Which still work extremely well 98% of the time

The filter on this looks really cool - like the idea of having a filter within a filter. I didn't know that there was a new model out. I had read about the IO line coming a few months back - does this have the new mapping abilities that were touted with the IO line, or is that something else that's slated for next year? Thanks for posting review, I was looking at Dolphins and didn't know about the M600. I was considering M500.

May I ask how much you paid (assuming that doesn't violate forum rules) if it does PM would be great if you have the time.

My Blue Diamond died after 16 years. Always pulled it out, used about once a week (4-5 month season).

You can leave some robots in but I guarantee it will shorten lifespan.

I avoided high Chlorine from a shock but didn't worry about routine chlorine. Like when opening, I'd clean a bunch of times then shock. Never shock first. It may have been fine but it was not that much trouble. Also in spring if I shocked it, in the spring, it would turn cloudy and could monitor cleaning as well.

Just wanted to give a great testimony on the m600 bought it at the beginning of the season the thing is unbelievable. Clean the sides even have a large swim shelf it's able to walk up the steps and clean it. Best pool cleaner I've ever had and buying it from Marina save me about three hundred bucks or buying it elsewhere if you can even find it.
My only want for it is that can't clean the top of the water that my Hayward dad so amazingly so anybody got any additional ideas on how to quickly and efficiently skim the top of the water would be much appreciated

Thanks for the update!
I am seriously considering this model to replace a Polaris 280

what is the water depth of your swim shelf?

Any issues with the M600 getting stuck on the drain? Have read feedback on here about some models getting hung up, which made me consider the M500 (3 brushes) over the M600. Doing a little pre-robot searching before our pool is build in the spring.

I got mine in July and no problems yet.

About to get a cleaner and am looking at the M600 and M500. Sounds like the Wifi on the M600 is nice to have. Seems like the 3rd brush on the M500 doesn't really add any benefits. Is it worth it to get the M600? Any other features to note?

Does anyone know how these compare to models like the Sigma, C3, and other versions? I've been looking at models for several weeks now and still can't seem to figure out what all the differences are and which one is better. I've heard the C3 is a commercial unit but I've also heard it uses all the same motors and basic parts as the the "Deluxe" versions like these.

Not too worried about price. Just want it to work well and be easy to use and maintain. We have a 20 x 40 with a small tanning ledge and a step around one side that serves as a seat around a table (table has a pillar)

I have the M500, if I had to buy one today I would probably get the M600. I like the 3rd brush and I think it does actually help brush my pool and makes sure it does not get stuck on anything. However, the primary motivator for me would be the single basket as opposed to the two baskets that the M500 has. Just makes life easier for cleaning afterwards.

Based on this thread and some other research, I just picked up an M600 this past thursday, and it's my first Dolphin. Being so new it was hard to find many details on it. My Hayward aquavac 500 quit working a couple weeks ago, and although it's been a good cleaner, I had the itch for something easier to clean and a better timer for vacations. It was an easy setup, and cleaning the large basket is head and shoulders superior to the aquavac. Time will tell, but the few times I've run it it seems to do a better job in a faster amount of time. Though next fall will be a true test given the large amount of tree debris that ends up in the pool. It does a good job cleaning the waterline, sides of the sunshef, and yet to get hung up on either of the two main drains. The app is nice for starting a cleaning cycle from anywhere, without having to go out to the module and press a button. I've played with the remote control, and works well, but can't see much use in it aside from picking up occasional debris for the overly OCD. I don't have any buyers remorse on purchasing the M600 yet, and was really my Merry Christmas to myself.
