Well, we made it back to our soon to be home. Closing tomorrow afternoon. Our pool is now filled to the eyeballs and growing algae as one might expect. I put two floaters with 4 chlorine tablets in each one in the pool. I failed to get the top on one of them and three fell out. So I guess I will be waiding in tomorrow to get them off the bottom.
There is no pump hooked up so I will take that up when we see the seller at closing. If I have to buy a pump I plan on a variable speed one. I will not be able to SLAM for 6 weeks or so until we get moved in. OR would it be better for me to drain, scrub with a bleach solution and refill?

FYI == tablets left on the vinyl liner will bleach it out and damage the liner. Quickly.

I know, but I did not have clothes to get them this afternoon. Tomorrow probably four pm will be the soonest I can get them. Hope it will not cause weak spots in the liner. Discoloration I can live with.

Depends some on test results and amount of solids in the pool water.

Does the well water have iron in it?
