Removed automatic valve actuator, now there is no power to switch inside house.

Hi,

My 2 Automatic Valve Actuator broke. I decided to removed them since I don't use them much. Not sure how this happen but I followed both lines and cut it by the control box. Now, the switch in my house control panel doesn't work. IE: pool lights, spa, etc ...

Are these two wires supposed to be a closed circuit?
Also, I see 3 lines cut coming out of the control box. They all look the same. Not sure if that 3rd line was already cut or I did it. I'm not seeing anywhere else it can be connected to, besides the auto actuators.

Those two lines just plug in, so no idea why you would need to cut them. But if you cut them with power on, you probably blew an internal fuse.. But that is just a guess, as I have no way to know what system you have...

Tell us more about the automation system you have. Better yet, show us a couple of pics of the inside of the control box and the cut cables..

I should have followed into the box before I cut it. *sigh* I followed the lines today.
They all go to the JVA sockets. One goes to Intake JVA, one goes to Return JVA, the other was not connected to Cleaner JVA.

What is JVA?

I unplug all the JVA lines and pool light swith still doesn't work.

I'm thinking about connecting the Intake JVA to Return JVA to make a close loop? But that's just a wild guess, I can blow it up!

Aqua Switch brand. I took off the panel and there is no fuse.

Could it be a relay?
 
Wiring diagram for your panel is on the inside door. Identify the connector for your indoor control panel and follow the wire and see if you can see any problems. If you have a multimeter check the continuity of each wite between the panel and the indoor control.

There are a bunch of wires running to the indoor control panel. Since you was snipping wires you should make sure you didn’t snip that one. If you did not then Jim is likely on the right track that you blew the 24VAC.

I suspect that when you cut the wires you shorted the 24 VAC running through them... So either there is a blown fuse somewhere or you blew up the 24 VAC transformer..

It appears to me that the main board has at least one fuse on it...

It is working now thanks to your help. There was a fuse behind the one of the board. I purchased another fuse and replace and the switches are now working. Lesson learned not to cut the wires when there's power to it. I also know now I could have simply unplugged.
Was too scared to follow all the wires in box but once I did, there's not much to it!
