Now the TA is back down to 60, CH=925 and water temp is lower, I can aim for ph=(7.2-7.0) CSI = negative .3. (Hoping to address calcium buildup/staining) I will have to add MA everyday but that’s ok…because I need to keep TA from rising. When PH was steady at 7.6…only added 66 ounces of MA in 21 days but TA rose 30ppm.

Aiming for ph = 7.2 to 7.6 (with TA = 50) Anything higher puts CSI too high Anything lower demands too much MA and I am worried that TA will drive below 50. Was aiming for 7.0 so that CSI was negative.3, it hopes of addressing the dirt/calcium scale build up. But the MA is too frequent and too much because the PH/TA equilibrium is not within range. PH wants to rise .2 every day and requiring 20 ounces if MA. I will need to work on maintaining a negative CSI once I can get my CH lower
Once CH is lower….aiming for PH 7.2 and TA 50 will be at equilibrium but the CSI will be negative. So MA demand will not be high but can still have negative CSI
