“Low Salt” message again. Control pad reading ~1900ppm, water actually at ~3800ppm. Cleaned SWG again (last cleaned just 6 weeks ago). Reinstalled, reset, and initially reading at ~3200ppm, then falls to ~1900ppm within about 30min of pump run time. Cell already worn out or has bad sensor or ??? Shipped in to CircuPool to be looked at under the 2yr warranty.

Q: Do we have a leak?? Skimmer basket cement surround split and adjoining travertine heaved. I pulled out a bunch of dark moss from under three pieces of travertine and re-leveled the sand. Per recommendation from Brian @ Javelina Pool, called Brian @ Leak Detective (602-989-3097) A: Lead detective did dye test and pressured tested all plumbing, could not find a leak. Hypothesis is that condensation and splash up in filter basket compromised the cement around the top of the skimmer basket.

Cleaned SWG. Use 1-part 14.5% muriatic acid (8 oz) mixed into 4-parts water (32 oz) to fill the cell. Let soak for 15min. Rinse a million times with high pressure wand, then repeat. Plastic knife is useful to dislodge and break up chunks of build up. Pour residual acid/water mix back into the pool. Set SWG to 25% and runtime at 7hrs to produce 0.8 FC per day.
