Adrienne, Tomorrow night when you check chems, maybe try to do a bit earlier. Not sure if it was getting dark there or not. I’m puzzled about CC so I’m wondering if it’s just bad lighting. I never have .4 CC. Having pool open for a while should help if it’s been closed. When pool has more than .4 CC a shock is required. Given that my FC is more than sufficient, I think it’s likely an error or the pool need to breath in order for the CC to oxidize and escape.

Storm rolling in pool covered and leaving for work. Added another dose knowing FC is about to fall below Slam. I am not sure if this method even works, but at this point I’ve nothing to lose.

Ok. Hot dog! I measured FC at 15 this am. I am careful. I get down eye level and try to make sure bottom of bubble is resting on the 10ml mark. I dosed to bring to 16 slam. I waited 2 hours and just test and fc is 17. The only thing that makes sense would be that FC was actually 16 this am right? We did fire up our heater this morning. Maybe I did only lose .5 FC over night…..now will be measuring with my dropper so I can end this madness.
