TFTP Reccs:
Free Chlorine betw 4 - 6 ppm. Early evening is best time to measure. There are some adv’s to running the pump/SWCG during the day while the sun is out.
Salt ideal = 3,500 ppm, but keep betw 3,000 - 4,000 (for my 19,000 gal pool, adding a 40lb bag of salt should increase level ~250ppm)
CYA 70 - 80
Total Alk 60 - 80 ppm (Important!!)
Calcium Hardness 350 ppm. Make sure isn’t above 400, else will get scale buildup if/when the pH rises too high.
pH ideal 7.2 - 7.8. (Important!!) When it gets to 7.8, add acid to lower it. Don’t ever let it get to 8 or higher.
