Last note got cut off and couldn’t read the bottom…anyway…I will use only new R-0871 from now on. Also, my PH has climbed even higher—will bring that down to acceptable levels and see how that effects things.
Okay, so I’ve been running my filter and swg on high for 48+ hours straight. Water is crystal clear. However, I am concerned with the fluctuation of the FC. During the day, the FC drops 2-3 ppm and I have to run the filter/generator all night just to bring it back to target levels. I am concerned that this will take a toll on my pump, swg, and my darn electric bill!! I had been using my old bottle of R-0871 for the fas-sod test, but just switched to new bottle this morning to rule out old helical s. oR-0872

Okay, so last nights test must have been off, because it was 6.5 this morning. But I am still concerned about chlorine output, so today I’ve turned the pump on hi and the swg to 5 to see if I can get my FC to atleast 8.

Dude, I’m so f-ing pissed. Ran the pump/swg on high/4 all day for 18 hrs. (7 am- 10pm) Swg was turned to 4. The big drop tonight was a surprise.

Tested at 10 am today. 6.5 FC. Had a storm yesterday. Lots of rain and leaves in pool. Vacuumed this morning. Had pump/swg on low speed and level 4 for hours. Unplugged to backfill dirt. Tested 5.5 at 10:45. Plugged back in and turned pump/swg to highest settings. Going to run all night and rested in am.

So, after running pump/swg for a couple hours, with many swimmers in it, we had a rainstorm, and then gfi got tripped, and it was dinner time. (8:00-900?) So I restarted pump/swg at 1:30 am 6/21, and added dock with 4 lbs cya to raise level to 70 (hopefully). I added what bleach I could…approx 50 oz @ 7.5, and turned the swg to the max, so I hope to get it to a min 8-10 ppm

Finally installed and hooked up the saltwater chlorine generator at 3:20. I had added bleach earlier today (11-12?) to bring FC to 5. Just took a reading 1 hour after installing generator and FC is reading 5. Will test later to see how it’s producing. SWG is currently set at 4.

Started filling pool up at about noon on Saturday, June 5. Ran constantly until 2:40 a.m. 6/7 (approximately 38 hrs). Water level is about 2 inches below skimmer. Installed skimmer today, and David buried(2) 8’ copper rods. I will finish installing return fitting tomorrow, and resume filling. Kevin is bringing the rest of the electrical stuff that we need (#8 copper spool, outdoor 50 amp service, etc. )
